In theory, I think I would have been in more trouble had this hero been a high elf and had progressed the governance tree deeper and then, thanks to the benefits of torch bearer, recruited something with a stronger front line to compensate for lank of front line like human, orc or goblin. He gained 2 cities with high elf at early game and swarmed with many archers and storm sisters who had Healing Ability unlocked from Theocrat, which made his stacks quite tough.
